As a key member of our technical team, you will play an essential role in delivering cutting-edge technology to some of the most advanced research and industrial facilities worldwide. Your tasks will include:
- Installation and commissioning of UpNano systems at world-class institutions and industry leaders across the globe
- Execution of test protocols and system acceptance procedures, ensuring precision and customer satisfaction
- Hands-on support in the assembly and calibration of our high-resolution 3D printing systems at our headquarters
- Detailed documentation of installation and service procedures to maintain quality standards and continuous improvement

- A completed technical degree (HTL, FH, or University) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, (laser) physics, or quality control
- Hands-on experience in equipment development, assembly, or technical service—ideally in a high-tech or precision manufacturing setting
- A flexible, team-oriented, and solution-driven approach with a readiness to take initiative
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus

Salary
The actual minimum salary is 3,400 € gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.

- Contribution to architecture and design decisions for complex systems

Your Profile
Must‑have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of experience in modern C++ development (C++20 or newer)
- Experience with functional programming
- Strong knowledge of OOP, software design, and system architecture
- Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of STL, memory management, and standard libraries
- Experience with CMake or similar build systems
- Experience using Git in professional environments
- Strong debugging skills (e.g., gdb, Valgrind, profilers)
- Proven ability to effectively work on large, complex, and long-evolving codebases
Nice‑to‑have:
- Knowledge of networking, IPC, or low-level/system programming
- Experience with Linux/Windows and POSIX APIs
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Kotlin knowledge is a plus
- Experience with network protocols
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines or automated build processes
- Basic knowledge of Docker or virtualization
